OzScot Australia is a Highland Dancing Ensemble, bringing Premier Highland Dancers together from across the country to perform at traditional tattoos and shows around the world—a proud tradition we’ve upheld for the past 24 years.

OzScot proudly represents the talent, dedication, and passion that have defined our ensemble for more than two decades. Under the leadership of Dance Director Cheryl Roach OAM and Assistant Dance Director Amy Roach, OzScot has grown into one of the world’s most respected Highland dance groups.

Our first major international appearance took place at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2002, where Australian dancers joined colleagues from New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, and Scotland to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Since then, OzScot has performed at many of the world’s premier international tattoos and cultural events across Scotland, the USA, Canada, Switzerland, the Netherlands, South Africa, Northern Ireland, Russia, and Oman.

Renowned for our innovative approach to Highland dance, OzScot blends traditional technique with contemporary movement to create choreography that is both technically challenging and visually striking. Precision, exactitude, and a strong sense of line have become our signature qualities—captivating audiences around the world.
